Commissioned Projects

David particularly enjoys researching and devising commissioned projects to suit specific themes and particular needs. Examples:Tales I’ve been Told, an evening of intercultural storytelling with teachers of English from around the world, commissioned by the International Association of Teachers of English as a Foreign Language at their annual conference “I love watching you tell.”  – Jane Arnold, Professor of ELT methodology in the English Language Department at the University of Seville (Spain) Polish Folk Tales, intercultural storytelling and storymaking workshops in Devon primary schools commission, Ethnic Minority Achievement and Anglo-Polish Organisation “I will remember the children’s facial expressions and the sounds they made – the WOW factor. Superb!” – Hannah Rowland, Year 1 Teacher, Yeo Valley Primary School, Barnstaple Tales of Ice and Snow, a site-specific family event commissioned by Spacex Art Gallery, Exeter “Working with David to create a unique storytelling event was a joy.
